Travel time AK to MCO

I am thinking of going to AK on the last day of our trip (Monday, Memorial Day) to check out Expedition Everest. What time should I be leaving the park to drive directly to MCO? We are travelling on Southwest, departing at 3:45. We have a rental car, Alamo, to return at the terminal.

What route are you using? I think the greenway/toll/south entrance to MCO is much quicker route - way less traffic.

Since it's a holiday & you've got to return rental car (Alamo - infamously slow), I'd leave the AK parking lot no later than Noon (of course, I'm always early).

Have you checked into getting the "free" QS code via mousesavers wherein you can drop car off in garage as opposed to standing on-line @ MCO?

We have Alamo *********** so I'm set to save time at drop off. I have to check my driving directions- I can't remember the route we take each year; I always print out the directions before we go. Also, we are doing on-line check-in and only have carry-ons.

I would allow at least 2 hours at the airport. The A side can have very long lines for security. It takes at least 1/2 hour to get to the airport on 417.

I would leave the park no later than 12:30.

safetymom- not to sound daft, but by leaving the park at 12:30, do you mean in my car driving away or heading to the gate for the parking lot ?
