We are going to Disney World in September with our two daughters ages 1 and 2 and are planning on bringing two strollers with us (I don't think they would not sit well together in a double stroller) we currently only have one stroller which is a big graco travel system stroller that we used with their infant car seat when they were small. Has anyone used this big of a stroller at Disney, while staying on property and using the bus system? My husband really wants to use this stroller and then buy one smaller stroller for the other kiddo we just aren't sure if it will be unmanageble (not the weight of it as it is no problem for DH) on the bus due to the size.

When our kids were those ages...I bought an older Graco side-by-side at a garage sale for $30 or $40. It had nice basket-space underneath. We used that at WDW for about 5 or so trips. I loved it. It was older so we didn't have to worry about stealing...And there weren't a 100 other look-alikes so it was easier to find it. It was easier on the bus, IMO, with one stroller. I was in charge of the kids getting on/off and dh would take the stroller and stand near the back door with it leaned against one of the poles near the back door. Then he would hop off and have it all set up and ready for the kids to jump in when I got them off the bus.

And even if we brought 2 strollers - I would never have brought our travel system - mine was big and heavy.

Just my opinion...

We took our Graco travel system stroller for our DD's first two trips at 3 mos and 17 mos. It was what she was used to and offered the most comforts for her. Sure it was a bit bulky, but only for the SMALL amount of time we were on the busses. The main bulk of the day we were in the parks, not on a bus. My dh had no problems carrying the folded stroller onto the bus. We got rid of that big one after we got back from her second trip ( I use a Mac Quest for her at home) and since then we have bought a Baby Jogger City Mini to use at home and at Disney. It is lighter and much easier to fold.
