Bit of a shot in the dark really, but for the first time ever last October I suffered terrible travel sickness on our flight back home.

We flew with Virgin, and I was given some medication by the air steward which immediately took away the sickness/dizzy feeling and to be honest knocked me out for the majority of the flight.

Now for the life of me I cannot remember the name of the tablets I was given, and just wondered if any of you guys that might have experienced the same have any idea :confused3

I wonder if it was Dramamine we buy it from Walmart/Walgreens when we're in Florida.
My youngest DD suffers terribly with motion sickness and this works brilliant and knocks hers out for most of the flight.
I suffer too but not to the same degree but it has the same effect on me. I've lost the last ones I bought so a kind Diser is bringing me some home when she goes in preparation for my next trip :)

Thank you Gaynor, Dramamine doesnt ring a bell with me although I have heard a lot about this medication on the US boards and made a note myself to pick some up when we arrive for the home journey.

I'm sure the steward said they were brought from "home" ie England.

Im sure if you phoned virgin they could tell you what they give out ???

You know I tried that one and went through to India I think, after about 20 minutes I gave up

I'm sure they were called something like wizz eeze, actually its probably nothing like :confused3

You could try the forums on V-Flyer, I'm pretty sure they have cabin crew who post there.

would it have been "Travel-Eze"?
we buy "Travel-eze" in boots

ooh I wonder what they were, I think I'd need to invest in some of those for our trip (when it's finally booked !!!) I felt really sick today coming down an escalator, very random but recently the least bit motion makes me feel

Oh I'm not sure now.

I think I'm getting mixed up with DH's rugby tablets called Breatheze.

Just tried looking on the Vflyer forum, good tip thank you, but you have to pay a subscription charge to post a thread, I've tried to do a search but nothings coming up.

If I dont have any luck on here I may well foot the cost and ask the question over there. Thank you all again.:thumbsup2

It may have been Kwells, looks a bit like "eze" in my funny kinda way.

Wonder if they make you drowsy :confused3 I'm looking them up now.

Maybe I was knocked out on the flight due to having spent 3 and a half weeks running around each and every park more than three times over from 7am till 9pm with 4 childrens under the age of 7 ;)

Crikey-I'd need more than Kwells after that:scared1:

Only joking I love kids really:hug:

My DS was sick on a Virgin flight once, due to bad turbulence; I'd just like to say how fantastic the Virgin staff were with him. They kept being sent back to their seats, but every time they were released they came back to check on him and to see if we needed anything else.
