Travel Network "Secret" Restaurant???

A friend of mine told me that she was recently watching the Travel Network and they mentioned some restaurant at WDW that is a 'secret" and that you can get to it by using an elevator? Anybody know what the show was talking about? She thinks it said that it was in MK.

I believe she means Club 33 at Disneyland. Its a members-only restaurant at DL. WDW doesn't have an equivalent.

It sounds like it's Club 33 at Disneyland. It's a private club that you need to pay membership for, the wait list to buy membership is years long.

Like the other said, no doubt that they saw "Club 33", as mentioned in the "Disneyland Behind the Scenes" program that is aired regularly.

There are a couple places that list the upcoming Disney park TV shows (as well as a Yahoo group), if you want an easy way to catch the show yourself or verify that it was what was on when they were watching.

Actually I remember reading someone's trip report and she talked about this "secret" restaurant. It was at Disney World and she mentioned that some people were trying to find the elevator. She also mentioned that she had made reservations and someone seemed mad that they couldn't get in w/out one. I think it was in one of the hotels or a resort. Someone must remember!

In order to get to the California Grill at the CR you need to check in at the podium on the second floor. Only with reservations or open availability are you allowed up to the 15th floor.

There isn't a secret restaurant at WDW. What you are describing from someone's trip report sounds like it might be California Grill. You have to take an elevator to the restaurant, and you can't go up there unless you are eating there - which usually requires an ADR. But California Grill is definitely not a secret - it's one of the most popular restaurants at WDW.

Isn't there an elevator that you can take to get to the second floor at Cinderella's? I could swear I saw one there and I would think there would have to be, to be handicapped-accessible. But that's hardly a secret restaurant.
