Do you guys get the Disney travel insurance in case there is some unforeseen circumstance that causes you to cancel your trip (death, illness, etc).

I don't because we book room-only reservations and not packages, which has a better cancellation policy. With room-only, you can cancel up to five days out with no penalty and under that with only losing the first night's deposit. Since packages have a stricter cancellation, I would probably consider it if I went that route, since you have to cancel 46 days in advance. With five days out, if someone is already ill or whatever, I can go ahead and cancel. And with less than that, I would still only lose a one-night deposit--not too bad. When we cruised, we bought the insurance since you had to pay so far in advance with their cancellation.

:) If you are buying the pkg. then you should get the trip insurance. We have done that twice now and it's really not that expensive considering what you would lose if you didn't have it. It just makes me feel a little more secure.;)
