We have always purchased trip insurance, until this cruise. I have not bought any and the cruise is 6 weeks away. I do not know if it is even too late at this point to buy it and if it is not would it be worth it to me at this point to purchase the insurance.

The only reason we would not be able to go would be sickness, death, hurricane that would prevent us getting to the port and if my DH's company sent him to work else where due to a hurricane.

I know the insurance will cover the first two, but what about the last two? If DH's company cancels his vacation and sends him elsewhere to work they will compensate for the cruise. But will the insurance pay us back for not being able to get to the port due to a hurricane? For some reason I really doubt it.

Our ins will compensate if our travel is delayed, canceled or interrupted due to Hurricane affecting our travel plans. Also if the hurricane was not where we were traveling but we lived within the projected path of the hurricane it would be fully covered (cancel, delay or interruption). If we live outside the projected path of the hurricane and the hurricane is not in the path of our travels it would not be covered, obviously. I forget the exact company and don't have my info right here, but I found it on imsuremytrip.com.
