Travel Insurance Discount code

I got a discount code for travel insurance via email this morning with Travel Insurance Direct.

For purchases before July 30 using the code WINTER2012 I did a quote and got a little more than 10% off.

Still shopping around but it seems reasonable for 3 people

For our dates they were still $30 cheaper than travel insurance direct, even when i put in the winter code.

I've been mulling over the insurance, we have cover with our credit card but it doesn't have " unlimited " medical, which I think I'd prefer to have in the USA. I'll probably end up buying a policy just for that peace of mind.

i have always used TID annual/ multi trip insurance..works out the same as a 25 + day policy..with all the bells and whistles...

Just had a look, but I think I did check them out a few weeks ago.

Same price as 1cover...

Just investigated further and Allianz are 1cover underwriters.

Yep, it all makes no sense to me whatsoever (like any of my other insurances LOL)
