[MDCU2003]

I am considering buying a travel guide for our first trip to Universal in June. I've seen 2 listed on Amazon with mixed reviews for both. Does anyone have any recommendations?

1. Universal Orlando, 2003: The Ultimate Guide to the Ultimate Theme Park Adventure - Kelly Monaghan;

2. Universal Orlando With Kids, 2003-2004: Your Ultimate Guide to Orlando's Universal Studios, Citywalk, and Islands of Adventure (Universal Orlando With Kids) - Kim Wright Wiley; Paperback

I would go with Kelly Mongahan's book. It's the best out there.

I really like Kelly's book because it's loaded with details.

Go with Kelly's book. If Kim Wright Wiley's book on US is anything like her book on WDW and the sections in it on US then it is full of misimformation and is very outdated. The 2001 edition included many phrases like "coming in spring 2000" It was obvious the book was about 2 yrs out of date.

I have both books, Kelly's is much better.

My vote is for Kelly! His books are by far the best travel books. Very informational and fun to read.
