Travel during weekend/weekday

I'm trying to advance plan the dates for our 09 trip. I was thinking June 1-10 Is it cheaper to fly in/out on a weekend, or should I keep the travel during the week? Does it really make that much of a difference in price?

It is usually cheaper to fly mid-week. We usually fly SW and sometimes you can get decent fares on Sat. but the flight times may not be ideal.

I've really found flights to be cheaper during the week. (of course there are always exceptions!)
