Dears,
can you tell me if all of you have already received the documents and luggage tags at home?
We don't yet....I know we can survive also without them but I am a little worried.
Thanks folks

Call DCL. You should have received those already.

DCL already contacted, they told me the box should arrive very soon...but, if not, we should go to the Magical Express desk and let them do....Ok, we can manage it but...what a pity :guilty:

You don't get a box. It's an envelope with a spiral bound booklet inside.

Very important info: we live in Italy...perhaps this made things a little more complicated

Are you flying into Orlando then going straight to the ship or are you going to Disney World first?

If going to Disney World first you will NOT get a box with magic bands and luggage tags. You will get your magic bands when you check into your resort. Magic bands are only shipped to United States addresses.

Don't know about cruise documents. Someone else could chime in on that.

Yes, we arrive on the 12/3, sleep one night at the Hyatt MCO and then straight to the ship.
Afterwards we will stay at the Poly from 12/7 for some nights.
Thanks anyway

Don't worry! I am in Germany and our cruise documents for my last cruise arrived about 2 weeks to 10 days before our cruise. Rather last minute in my opinion, but they seem to send them on their own cruise with a mail ship across the Atlantic. ;)

Hi Marci,

Amazing, we are doing the same thing...3 night dream on the 4th and then to the poly.

Don't worry about not receiving anything, you can always walk right up to the DCL counter and they'll have all the information. For the trip to the Poly, if you have DCL transfers, you can get a printout of the confirmation while on board.

See you soon.

Fantastic and yeah, I thought this program was a very good way to keep on staying on 'warmy' holiday.
It is the 1st transoceanic trip for my wife and our little daughter (almost 2y.o.)....and I am trying to have a clear overview of everything :-)

We recently did a four-night and I forgot my documents and tags. I freaked and called DCL because I was scared we wouldn't be able to cruise. All was fine. I signed the documents at check-in and the porters outside carry plenty of extra tags. Easy peasy. It only added a few extra minutes and the DCL folks were very efficient.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation!

Please be sure to pack some warm clothes just in case it gets cold. Our first WDW trip was late November to mid December and it got literally freezing for about a week in there. I didn't think it would be that way as it had frozen the year prior...I was wrong. Long pants and shirts with warm undergarments (in the U.S. they are called long johns or long underwear) would have been fabulous. Instead we had coats (needed for Seattle weather getting to and from the airport) over our Florida clothes. Once we got to universal and it was 20-something degrees Fahrenheit one morning I broke down and bought scarves.

(The day we flew home it was back around 83F. We were so jealous of those just arriving!)

So...pack for contingencies for your land portion. Just in case. :)
