Travel Day Room Only Reservation

We will be staying at the POLY 11/10-11/15 with a package including dining! I got my DH to agree to arriving on 11/9 instead of 6:30am flight on the 10th. I can not at this time add the day to the poly ressie due to lack of avail. with my code. Soo planning on a room only ressie for 11/9 and we will relax, enjoy the pool and perhaps hit DTD. My question is: would you go for a Value for $67 or POFQ for $107? We will get up first thing in the am to transfer to Poly and get our park tickets and make rope drop at Epcot!

Well, depending at what time you are arriving, like us, we are arriving on May the 3rd (us too we were supposed to arrive on the 4th but decided for extra day) and since our reservations were already made at OKW and could not add a day to it, we decided to stay at All Movies since it is just for sleeping and transfering to OKW in the morning. But we will enjoy the pool at ASM a bit in the morning before the transfer, it's all depending on what you want to do at the resort before transfering, but if you are arriving early enough to really enjoy your resort, well I say go for the POFQ.

Now I know I am over thinking things here but
1. How do the pools compare?
2. How loud can ASMo get compared to POFQ?
3. Is the boat to DTD nice or do you usually take a bus anyway?

We are looking at doing the same thing. We are doing a package with dining and have reservations for August 10-19 . If we can get better prices on our airline tickets by flying out on Saturday, we will make a room reservation only for August 9. Does anyone know if we can still use the Magical Express if flying in a day earlier before our package plan starts?

We did this last year. I had booked a package for 6 nights at YC, then I convinced DH to fly down a day early. We did a room only at Pop for $87 and it worked out well. My kids enjoyed the giant icons and loved the Hippy Dippy pool. We were up and out very early the next morning (checked in at YC at 7:00 a.m. to get package going since we were on DDP).

I agree, since it's just one night, pick the cheaper option and use the $40 for something else

We are doing this in May, arriving a day early and staying one night at ASMu, moving to the Beach Club Villas the next day.

We love the boat to DTD but I don;t think it's worth the extra $$ if you're just staying one night. I would pick the value.
