just to let you all know travel city are taking bookings for flight only in sunshine first, booked today for next august. so get on the phones.

the price is £509 and then £250 upgrade to sunshine first

What's going on? Just been on the phone to Travel City. They say sunshine first with 54" pitch can only be booked with accommodation! Are you talking about sunshine upper?

its sunshine first not upper, when i phoned i asked if they had any of these seats left for the date i wanted, they told me they had only 4 left for that date, i said great can i book them, they took all our details and asked if we wanted accomadation i said no as we have a timeshare booking at vistana villages, no problem, low deposit paid and we will recieve booking in the post in 7 to 10 days.

Strange! When I phoned (like 20 mins ago, & as I have before), the guy was firm that sunshine first can only be booked with accommodation. Looks like you slipped through the net or ?????????

what do you mean or what ? the story goes like this, we booked 2 seats in sunshine first in may this year before there were any problems booking without accomadation, now my brother in law, wife and son want to come , i told them i would see if i could make a seperate booking for them, if not i would try to add them onto our booking. when i phoned i didnt say we already had a booking as there was no problem at all, the girl took the details asked if we wanted car hire, insurance we said no. also i had read that children could not go in sunshine first one of our group is 14 again no problem ,so i dont know what else i can say except i thought they must have started taking the bookings again.

I really appreciate you giving info & trying to help others, like me! I'd like to travel first without accommodation but what can I say, they won't have it! It seems your previous booking must have been linked somehow. Good luck & enjoy your holiday, first + vistana - how could you not?

We had the same trouble in Sept trying to book Sunshine First for Aug 2003 to be told 'only if we booked there accomodation'
We have now booked with Thomsons.
