Travel agents?

Do you feel like using a travel agent helps you to get better rates/codes?

I learn more from the Disboards. My AAA TA specialized in booking Disney vacations and she even admits that I am likely to find out discounts on this site before she does.

I use a Disney "Earmarked" TA that knows ALL things Disney. Using a TA works for me because I am in the West and would need to be awake and functional at a time of day that I don't normally see. If you live in the same time zone and have access to a computer when the deals come out, it might not be of benefit to you. It has worked WONDERS for my family. We use The Magic for Less and have had good luck. There are several good TAs out there that just do Disney, including the company that sponsors this site. You just have to decide what works for you.

Whenever I book a trip not using DVC points, I always use an Earmarked Agency. I don't feel like being up at that hour of the morning when discounts come out......She does it for me.....
