Travel agent upgrade?

I work in the travel industry (though not as a booking agent) and have an IATA card. I booked my upcoming package through the WDW before I knew about the Disney travel agent website. (I know, I should have done my homework but I just wasn't thinking) I'm *hoping* I can still score some kind of upgrade or similar with my room. Any agents here aware of whether you can get upgrades at check-in? Worth a shot, right?

I'm staying at the AS Music in a standard room. Maybe they can bump me to preferred?

Since you now know about the Disney Travel Agents site, I'd go there and see if the TA rate is available for your dates.

You then need to fax a copy of your card within 48 hours in order to qualify for the rate. All of the info is on the website.

You'd have a better chance doing this than asking at checkin.
