Planning a cruise for family and grandchildren in 2018 for our 50th anniversary. we will need 3 staterooms, should we book directly with Disney or use travel agent, AAA or Mouse for less? Any help will be appreciated. Pros and cons,

I would use a travel agent who's experienced in Disney cruises, and who gives onboard credit-- $$$ to spend onboard. He/she can find three rooms next to each other, and help you with options you haven't even thought about.

I have used a TA for all my 8 Disney Cruises and I find their advice and help a great tool when planning my cruises. Receiving shipboard credit is nice as well but I find dealing with a TA directly whose name I know the best why for me to book my cruises.

Another satisfied Dreams Unlimited client here! Their agents are all Disney Specialists, who are full of invaluable information. The on board credit is always a nice perk too!

I don't need hand holding or questions answered. I go for the money. I use costcotravel.com for cruise bookings. (DU never responded to me and a company like that gets one shot with me to prove their service levels...I like costco bc you book through their website rather than the nonsense of getting a quote)

I've booked all three of my cruises with themouseforless.com and had great service. My agent was on vacation right before we left one time and he made sure another agent was up to date on our booking Andy was available to answer any questions I had

I like booking independently, so I can make changes at will and have complete independent control over the booking.

Depends on your experience. Have you booked cruises before with multiple rooms? I like using my local Disney TA. Free and takes away a lot of my planning anxiety. Most people on these boards are very capable of booking their own however using a Disney TA is easy and free. We always need multiple rooms on our WDW stays and we love using a TA. Very easy and ours is very informative and helpful.
