Travel agent/event planner question

We are heading to WDW in Nov/Dec this year We were hoping to have a celebration/reception dinner to celebrate our wedding and honeymoon for 14 nights.

As we live outside the US we have been finding it difficult to get information & pricing etc and I wondered if anyone knew if any travel agents/company/wedding planners that might be able to double both a travel agent and a mini wedding planner and make other reservations not just room (dining ect)?

I might be able to help you about. I specialize in Destination celebrations, and am a Disney Travel expert. I have great references from folk who have used me to plan out their Disney birthdays, engagements & vacations.

Her fee is very reasonable for all she sends you and the research she does.

Legitimate travel agents do not charge a fee to their clients. Disney pays the travel agent a commission. If an agent is also trying to charge you a fee for their services (including dining reservations etc.) I would look for someone else because something might be fishy.

Are you having a Wishes wedding or and Escape wedding?

We had initially planned a wishes wedding but had to cancel, now we are thinking of an escape vow renewal but would much prefer to be able to just have a small reception/dinner with us (and maybe 2 close friends).
Which is what creates the problem, we have a Disney planner who is more than happy to help IF we have the VR – if not she has said she can’t really help us !

So we are a bit lost and have very little knowledge and the time difference makes just picking up the phone and making heaps of calls very hard

Seems like your plan simple. I think your way is the best. Having a close friends in a wedding.
