Travel Adaptors

Can someone point me in the right direction for what we need. We've never bothered before but now have so many gadgets that need charging I think they will be essential. If anyone knows of any bargain ones that would be great as I think I need around 5.

I've seen some on e b a y but they say that they don't convert the electrical current is this something that I need the adaptor to do?

I read somewhere that you only need one converter and then plug in a uk extension lead so u can charge several things at the same time with only the expense of one converter.
i dont know the answer to ur question about the different types but just thought this tip may be helpful to you !

All you need for 99% off eletrical items is this. We use one of these them put in a 4 socket extension to run everything.

Almost everything will work without any power conversion but there is the odd item like a motorola V220 mobile phone(and not even all them) that won't work.
All appliences have on them (on plug or power pack)a power input, should say something like 100~240v that means it works on both US 110V and UK 240V
If it just says power input 240v then it won't work in US without a converter.
