WELL NOW! im glad i made it through this day alive! it all started as i climbed on the school bus. i had a doctors appointment at 11:00, but my mom would pick me up from school at 10:30 bc it was a long drive. as i was saying, i thought my day was going as ripe as a peach. but then boom! queue the bad luck fairy! well first off, we got stuck behind some bozos who slowed down approaching a green light and went faster as the light went yellow and red. ARGGGG!!! well we were late as is, so life couldn't get much worse, right??? wrong! i felt a sudden jerk fowards, and i realized a 100 year old idiot crashed into us! not badly, but enough to have to have us pull over and inspect the damage and wait for the police. that took bout an half an hour. then my grandparents dropped my brother and i off at the doctors. ah... peaceful, nice doctors office, right? nothing bad in here. until... DUN DUN DUNNN!!! *queue lighning* i find out i have to get a shot! my poor, four year old brother. he had to get five!! well, being the oldest, my mother suggests i go first and makes a comment to the doctor saying "do her first. she's worse at shots then him" i hung my head in shame, knowing it was true. last year, they literally had to hold me down! but last year, it only felt like a pinch, so i got relief. until they actually put the needle in my skin. YIKES! YEOWCH! OWIE! they might as well have used a drill, or a wasp, because thats how painful it was! i cried softfully in my moms chest as the stinging continued. oh boy, what a baby i am! i couldn't watch the agony of my brother as he screamed lous enough to wake up china! i cried even louder at my brothers pain and misery. he screamed all the way out of the doctors office. after that you would suspect my mom would give me a break and let me take the day off, right? WRONG! so back to school i wnet, with a miserable story to tell.

oy vey!

Watch the language ;)
At least you didn't have to get your shot at school, in the middle of the day, and get poked in BOTH arms 'cause they hit a blood vessel in your left and had to do in in your right, which is the one you write with. :Takes breath:

i once got a blood vessel poked by a shot, just DONT BE TENSE, dont make a fist or nothing, if you do it hurts your muscle ( if u got any ). then its sore for twice as long.

well i have too get a shot each week for my allergys so imagan so dont be so mad also its better the bus got hit less school

my bad i forgot to mention the bus didnt get hit my mom picked me up from school at 10:30 for my shots and she got hit..

Here's hoping you never have to get blood drawn :thumbsup2 .

Absolutly painful. A shot is just enough to get under the skin most of the times (or in the vein, or wherever a shot goes.) But getting blood drawn you have to keep the needle in your arm for about 60 seconds whilst they get enough blood. It's 100 times worse if you get a butterfly needle, mostly because you get to watch the blood go through the tube into the tube thing.

Here's hoping you have a better day!

I had to get my blood draw once to see if I was having a allergic reaction to my temporary medication. I think it was a butterfly needld because I had to sit there for five minutes while blood got sucked out of the back of my hand and twisted round and round and into a pack. They took like a ton of my blood. It hurt so bad because I was twitching and I could feel the needle under my skin slightly move and it made me tremble more.

Actually, when I was first born I had to get blood drawn every 2 weeks for the first 24 months of my life.My dad felt so bad for me he wanted to beg the doctors to draw his blood, luckily I have gotten blood drawn so many times(now I have to get blood drawn every 6 months) shots feel like nothing at all.But Im really sorry shellybellypolo that you had such a bad day,i've been there.:(

I've had three blood tests, and the first time I was seven or so and had a nice traditional emotional explosion, but the two I had earlier this year felt like... nothing lol. It pinched a little bit but that's all... if you look towards the other wall and pretend the nurse is just pinching you it helps lol.

..or i can just imagine the nurse injecting bee venom into my flesh with the actual stinger

now you know what it felt like LOL

the hilarious part of my day was when the doctor told the other nurses me and my 4 year old brother had to get shots. i actually now consider myself lucky verses him, he had to get five! well so anyways the doctor closed the door behind her and told the other nurses that i needed a shot and he needed five. you could hear behind the door the nurses gasp out "uh-oh!"
:rotfl: :happytv: :lmao:
