I was thinking of trying a different restaurant on our next trip. Anyone been to Trattoria al Forno? Any reivews?

I have been a lot... mostly because we stay in the boardwalk area. The restaurant is fine but I would’t go out of your way to eat there.

I always go for breakfast because Rapunzel is there. Food is average. Only been once for dinner and only got to try one thing on the menu. If you're looking for good Italian food though, stick with Il Mulino.

Loved it! We went for dinner and it was surprisingly good! We actually spoke with the chef it was so good.

We went there for our candlelight processionlal package dinner, It was delicious. It's funny, I had expected it to be good becuase my DD and her family had really enjoyed it, however I never expected it to be among my very favorite meals. The service was impecable. The servers were knowledgable and were eager to answer any questions, The meal was served in a timely manner and was prepared well, and dessert....well it also wa delicious.

We are there last summer mostly out of convenience because we were staying at BWV. But I must say we were very pleased with our meal, and more importantly with a very personable and knowledgeable wait staff. I would definitely eat there again and recommend it as a good value if your not on the DPP.

we ate there on our recent trip, and were not impressed. The food was tasteless and service meh. Food wasnt even hot when it came to the table, one order was sent wrong. We were sad that we tried it instead of Mama Melrose which for us has been at least consistent and the food had flavor. What Italian restaurant asks you when placing an order if you want it Spicy or not spicy??? For lasagna? and chicken parm? How about just make it with flavor?!!! Our experience may not be everyones, just stating ours!

Our one time there was not good, the food had very little taste and our server practically disappeared for most of the meal and it was not because she was too busy, since over 3/4 of the tables were empty when we went for an early dinner. We will not be going back. We will stick with Il Mulino or Maria and Enzos (we haven't had a full meal yet but bread, apps, and drinks were excellent) for Italian.

We have had multiple dinners and breakfasts there. As WDW dining goes, it seems to be good value. We also enjoy Mama Melrose’s and Il Mulino. MM is a comparable price point while Il Mulino was more on a par with the signature restaurants.
