We have breakfast ADR for 9:20am the Bon Voyage Breakfast in October. We are staying at the Ft Wilderness campground. What will be our best way to get to the Boardwalk Inn that morning? And then the rest of our day will be spent at Epcot. Can we walk to Epcot from the restaurant? Please help!

Thanks :D

If Uber or Lyft/Minnie Van is an option for you then I would just do that. You can walk to the International Gateway from Boardwalk very easily.

The other option would be to bus over to Epcot or HS and walk over to Boardwalk.

To get to the Boardwalk for 9:20am you may want to take a Minnie Van or Taxi. There's no direct bus from Fort Wilderness to Boardwalk and at that hour bus service may not start early enough to make it over from Epcot or Hollywood Studios. On a positive note, you can walk from The Boardwalk into the International Gateway entrance of EPCOT. You enter between the England and France Pavilions.

I would be nervous that if the park doesn't open until 8 or 9, would they have time to make it to The Boardwalk on time?

With a 9:20am ADR I think they'd be ok if they have a decent walking pace. It's a lot, though. Personally, I would take the Minnie Van.

I would definitely uber/lyft or Minnie Van.

There are no quick options otherwise. If you take a bus from Ft. W to DHS, you would then need to either walk to Boardwalk (a good 15 minute walk) or take a boat which could take up to 40 minutes with waiting for the boat and then getting to BWI (which is the last stop).

Taking a bus to EP would take a really long time, IMHO. The bus will take you to the front of EP. You would then need to go through security/bag check, enter EP and walk all the way to the back IG entrance.

On a brighter note, yes, you can walk from Trattoria to the EP IG entrance. That should take you about 5 minutes.

another vote for Uber, etc. You can get to EPCOT by bus and then walk all the way to the restaurant, but you would have to leave very early and hope you don't miss the bus or have it full.
Or take a boat or bus to MK and then bus to Boardwalk. Still a long trip to get there,

We have s 730 am reservation coming from Poly so we will be using Uber or Lyft I was able to get a quote and its about $10 which is worth it to us

definitely sounds like Uber will be the way to go to get there. Thanks everyone!

I mean you can definitely uber / lyft and it will likely cost only $10. But buses run pretty frequently in the AM.... So you could easily take the bus from FW to HS and walk. Its not a far walk from DHS, especially if you cut through the pool area. I think if you grab a bus by 8 AM from FW to DHS, you will be fine for timing. (Honestly, I think you'd probably be fine if you caught the bus by 8:30 but I am a risk taker)

I agree. We routinely do early morning breakfasts at various non-park places and have never missed one, solely relying on the WDW bus system.

I think they mean they can walk to Epcot after breakfast very easily, not that they should go to boardwalk through Epcot.
