Trash and towels Riviera

We are at Riviera and they have been doing trash and towels every day. I asked the housekeeper about it this morning and she told me at Riviera we do it every day for all DVC members. Does anyone know if thats a policy change at other resorts too? I know they stopped charging extra for towels but didn’t realize they would come replenish them now.

They do T&T at every DVC resort every day now.

My understanding for other resorts is that they do trash daily but towel change needs to be requested

Maybe that is why Riviera dues are so high Be aware that something favorable that is out of the ordinary sometimes occurs with new resorts and then disappears after the resort has been open for a while, e.g., when they opened AKV Jambo, everyone got a daily newspaper placed in front of the door in the morning. That lasted less than a year.

at copper creek 2 weeks ago and only got daily trash. Towels on day 4. At Bwv 1 week ago and only got daily trash. Towels on day 4.

I was told you could request daily towel service at no extra cost during our welcome home call. We own at Riviera, but it sounded like it was universal with all DVC properties.

It's going be added onto annual dues, I bet. It's likely to cost extra, but just spread out over the entire membership.

Just got home from three nights at BLT and used the same towels for all those days. I told the housekeeper we really had no trash to take out the first full day and they came while we were out of the room on the second day (had to buy a new tire so we were gone for five hours). Damn nails in the road.

Just back from OKW.....day 4 towels. Trash was hit and miss, usually every other day

Trash is every day, it's just part of their security check really. When I was at RIV in Dec towels were day 4. Perhaps they aren't differentiating between DVC / Cash guests to housekeeping currently at Riviera and do towels everyday

I was at the Riviera last week, and they just did the trash, though we happened to be in the room one of the days when they guy came to get the trash, and he offered to bring us more towels.

I would not be surprised if they are doing it daily because most of the resort is still Cash rooms? does that make sense?
