Evening All

I am going to order my dress and bridesmaid dresses tomorrow, ans was wondering what the best way of travelling on a flight with them? Is it best to buy boxes for them all to travel in the hold? or should I roll the dresses into carry ons.

I mean my dress will take a box on its own, then theres six other dresses four of which are quite puffy,

any ideas

thanx anna

I am taking my dress as a carryone. The plane may have a closet you can put it in or you can fold it and put it in the over head bin. Call you airline and see what restrictions they have. You can also ship the dresses to your resort. Hope that helps.

Hi,

I did carry on & they stored it in the 1st class garment holder....the stewardesses were so excited to see the wedding dress bag, they offered.
It was really nice of them.
But airlines are alot picker now....if you want to make sure carry on is ok, Id call the airline(get the name of who you t/t) to make sure its ok.

Best wishes

who are you flying with? we flew with virgin and they told me there was no way i'd be allowed to take it on plane and hang it up, so i bought one of those huge hard shelled suitcases and took it as hold luggage, put a load of fragile stickers on it, and it got there fine

Did you have to get your gowns steamed or were they okay after your trip?
