HELLO EVERYONE!

MY HUSBAND AND I BOOKED A TRIP FROM OCT 27-NOV 1ST AT THE DOLPHIN. IS THERE A SHUTTLE FROM ORLANDO'S AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL OR DO WE HAVE TO PROVIDE OUR OWN TRANSPORTATION.

THANKS,
JS :flower: :flower: :flower: :flower:

There is Mears, you could rent a car, there are many town car companies. If you do a search here on the transportation board you can get a lot of information.

PS: you should turn off your CAPS lock. On the Internet typing in all caps is considered shouting.

The hotel provides no shuttle that I'm aware of. Here are some websites where you can review your options:

http://www.tiffanytowncars.com/ - just one of the many towncar companies

Mears is probably your least expensive option, but you will most likely be in a van with a few other folks, all stopping at their own hotels. It is not the fastest way to travel, but we've used them a number of times. Small caveat: the vans can be challenging to enter if you need to get to the back seat and have physical issues, IMHO. I suffer from arthritis and it is a struggle for me sometimes to climb back there past the folks in the second seat. I think it is best left for the kids or the more agile folks.

Towncar service is more expensive, but more personalized and much more comfortable. Fees generally run in the $85-$125 range roundtrip, not including tips. Many of them will stop at a grocery store on the way to your hotel so you can purchase some snack items for your room.

Renting a car is also an option – both at the airport and also once at WDW. This gives you the most independence, but if you are not leaving the WDW grounds, you may not find it necessary. Transportation options abound at WDW, but some folks enjoy having their own “wheels”.

If you don't mind driving you can rent from Alamo or National at the airport and then just drop the car off at the Dolphin and repeat the process on the return trip...they have an Alamo/National desk right in the hotel. That way you would only have to pay for 2 single day rentals and you could stop off at a grocery and pick up drinks, snacks etc to keep in the room if you wanted.

If you aren't too picky about the car size you could probably get the rentals for about the same as Mears and significantly less than a towncar service.

Check out www.mousesavers.com for rental discount codes and coupons that might work for you.
