Hello there... I would love to have the Cinderella Coach, but it is a little too out of my budget range. We are going to use the Vintage Ford Car. The question I have is, has any one used the bus for their guest? Is it worth it, or are they just as well to use the Disney Transportation? Also, I was thinking of letting my DH use the car to get to the ceremony, and I thought it would be fun for me and my girls to use Disney Transport to get to the ceremony. I thought that it would be neat being all dressed up together on the bus. Any thoughts from anyone?

we have yet to get married :bride: :groom: although we're planning & excited about the big day, only 10 months & 17 days! yeah!

with the purchased bus transportation it makes it so much easier for your guests. they dont have to take multiple buses (ie asmo to dtd, dtd to the gf, gf walk to the ftw pavilion) or miss a bus & be late for your ceremony because they're lost. i think its hassle free by purchasing the transportation. unless all your guests are at your wedding site location (ie all your guests are staying at the bwi & your ceremony is at seabreeze) it wouldnt be needed then.

we are using the guest bus transportation for our ycg wedding our guests are staying at asmo & wl. i'm sure there are other dis brides who can share first hand experiences as well. best wishes planning!

We used chartered busses for our wedding guests, and we are so glad we did. We actually had to use them because our reception was inside Epcot and required our guests to enter through the backstage entrance. I’m really glad we did it though. All the bus transferring that would be required to get to the Wedding Pavilion (and as the above poster mentioned, they would then have to walk to the WP from the GF) would be a hassle. Also, people would possibly not allow enough time to get to the ceremony (people tend to underestimate how large WDW is and how long it takes to get places) and be late.

We used limos and towncars to get the ceremony and reception, so I don’t know about the possibility of using Disney transportation. I would discuss that with your EM to see what they think about the possibility. :)

We used the charted buses as well, and I think they were some of the best money we spent. Especially since it poured on our dessert party! It was much easier for our guests to get to the buses that were waiting backstage for them rather than have to worry about getting to the front of the park in the rain. In addition, it was nice for our guests not to have to worry about using Disney transportation (which can cause them to run late) or finding their own way to the various venues (disney roads can be hard to navigate if you haven't been there before). My DH and I used the Vintage Rolls to get to the ceremony (we saw each other beforehand for pictures) and the reception, and then boarded the buses with the rest of our guests for the dessert party.

As far as using Disney transportation to get you to your wedding - while it is a fun idea, I imagine that your EM (or whatever they are called now) will discourage you from that. Depending on where your wedding is (for example disney transportation won't take you to the WP, and its about a 5 minute walk there from the GF) and where you are getting dressed (there is no resort to resort transportation), it could be a big hassel making sure you get to your wedding on time. Its worth asking your EM about, as I agree it would be really fun, but it could also end up being a big problem the day of the wedding. But, there have been brides who have used the monorail to get from their ceremony at the WP to the Califonia Grill for their reception.
