I'm assuming you are taking a
disney cruise? Most private transportation companies are going to charge about $200-$250 roundtrip not including tip. Then you have no wheels for those few days before your cruise. If you aren't going to be doing any of the parks, I'd say rent a one way rental from
Budget from MCO to Cape Canaveral for the few days and stay in the area you'll be concentrating on, such as the Universal Studios area. Budget's Cape Canaveral office is right at the port and has a free shuttle to the port so it's very easy to return the car and get to port. One tip was to drop your party off with luggage first, return the car then shuttle to port. That way you will not have to worry about lugging your luggage on the shuttle. It was a good tip IMO. Also, the one way rental was the most reasonably priced option for us. You'll also have your own wheels to go where you want to go. If you are going back to the airport right after the cruise there are shuttle services to MCO available that are reasonably priced. The return one way from Cape Canaveral to MCO was quite a bit more, but we are staying after our cruise so I needed wheels. I believe one of the shuttle services is Art's Shuttle and it was like $25-$30 pp. You'll have to reserve with Art's. I think their web site is something like artsshuttle.com, but if not just google it. I'm sure
DCL has a transfer service as well that you can utilize, but I don't know the cost. Honestly, you might have better luck posting this on the DCL forum. I hope I've at least pointed you in the right direction.
Happy Cruising! We're going on our first cruise this June.
