Does anyone know if they will continue to have new transportation cards next year? I got the complete set for 2007.

Which cards do you have for 2007? I also have a set of the transportation cards, but want to make sure that I didn't miss any of the current ones. As far as seeing more in 2008, my experience is that they are not doing as many card sets and tend to hit a theme once and then pick something else for the next round. I think that the signature cards have been the exception and the series 2 were out and gone pretty quick. I don't get to the parks very often, but if you watch the usual auction sites, you usually see the new items pop up pretty quick after they are released. I have not seen a full set available in quite awhile, but there are a few single cards and subsets floating around, but not usually selling.

If there are any other sets that you have questions about, please let me know. I have been trying to keep my collection current and would be glad to trade information with someone else doing the same.

Thanks,

Jason

Hi Jason. Thanks for replying. I got the buses, boats and monorail trading cards. I don't know about any other trading cards. Years ago they had the 25th anniversary trading cards and I was lucky to get a full set of them. I think they were sold like baseball cards in packs. You never knew which cards you were getting until you opened the pack. I finally went up to a CM and begged to get the three of four that I was missing. But like I said, that was years ago.

What are the signature cards? I never heard of them.

Thanks for the info on your transportation cards. It seems to be the same ones I have.

The signature cards were sold in the parks a couple of years ago. There is a series 1 and series 2. The packs are different colors and the character selection differs. Each set includes 25 cards and have a picture of the character and the signature of the character is in either gold or silver. Each pack included 4 silvers and one gold. There were 5 "Cast" cards that were traded for in the parks. There is also a gold and silver version of these. If you want to see pictures of them, check ebay. There are a couple of auctions running and there is a little bit of everything available. The packs were originally around $3 each but they were on clearance for awhile at the end.

Other cards that I know of that were sold in the parks, or only available to cast members. I don't have my list in front of me, but I will add anything I miss later.

WOW, I had no idea there were so many sets of trading cards.

Guess I will have to ask in December and see if they have any new sets.

Thanks so much for the info.
