transportation to us from bc?

We are staying at Disneys Beach Club, but plan on going to us & ioa for two days. There will be 5 of us. What is the cheapest ,fastest, & easiest way to get to and from there?

As you may guess, Disney does not provide transportation to US/IOA. Your only real options are to take a taxi (maybe some one who's done this can post a rough price estimate for you), or rent a car.
Disney does have a place to rent a car from on the property. You could rent it for the two days you plan to leave WDW property. I cannot recall where exactly on WDW property you can rent a car from (I think you can rent one from any of the deluxe hotels) but I'm sure if you call 407-824-4321 (gen info) they will let you know.

I am in exactly the same situation.. and after MUCH research.. Mears Taxi service is the cheapest! You can call and get a van .... the taxi is costing me 12 .... YOu can go on their website to get the numbers to price a van.. I am sure it wouldn't be much more..

Valentine - where did you find info on the taxi service? - I thought Mears only ran vans and buses - if I could get a taxi for that $ and maybe have to share with only 1 or 2 other people that would be great - I've heard that the Mears vans (shuttles) and buses usually made many stops and took quite a long time to get you where you were going. I'm going to need to get back to HRH from BWV. - TIA !

I took Mears from my off-site hotel to IOA with no problem. We made a stop at Sea World and then went straight to IOA. I'd say the trip took about half an hour. I think we got there about 8:20 am, and the gates opened at 8:45, so the timing was perfect.

Have you looked at towncar services they are just as reasonable as mears and offer a grocery stop. They can even arrange to take you to universal. I have never done this but have seen it on allearsnet.com.

You tell Mears when you want to be picked up. I think you have to give them at least two hours notice.

On the mears website they offer 3 types of services... Shuttles/Town Cars/ Taxi service. The Taxi is the cheapest and quickest way for a direct route. They run a bus shuttle from Park to Park also... but this (while saving a few dollars) does make several other stops. If you do not mind that.. then go that route. As I am MOVING from one hotel to the other.. WITH my luggage. I opted for the taxi service. The town car is more money.... and as I am only me.... a grocery stop is not really in my plans. Sorry if I answered a little late... I didn't see your question (actually lost this thread for a little while!!) LOL!!
