Transportation to the beach????

Hey everyone,

I am sure there's someone out there that thought about going to the beach for a day while spending their vacation there at Disney. I have tried to find "SOMETHING" on this on the internet and I guess the only way to get there is rent a car or a taxi ($$$). Anyone do this??? Seems Cocoa Beach is the closest to Orlando/Disney-about 30 min.

Renting a car would probably be much cheaper than taking a cab. I think cabs cost around $20 just to get from one WDW resort to another!

I'm not sure if there is a shuttle bus (Mears might offer one?), but someone else on here might know.

I agree that renting a car is probably the best way to go. You could ask on the transportation forum - you might receive more responses there.
