Transportation to Space Center

Looking to do a one day trip to Kennedy space Center what all my transportation options from the Riviera resort to the Kennedy space Center and back?

When I did this in 2019 I rented a vehicle from the Car Care Center. I believe it cost me about $100 for a minivan. Much cheaper than two Ubers would have been for the 5 of us, the Car Care Center picked me up at PoP and dropped me off at EPCOT.

Not really That long, about an hour. But I agree with the rental car.

Truly depends on traffic. While 528 doesn’t get as backed up as I-4, it can still slow down at certain times of day.

Indeed. I-4 is my nemesis! I live 28 miles west of the Gate of mouse and have had it take hours to get there and back.

My commute to and from work (Poinciana to near Universal) is 28 miles door to door. Takes anywhere between 37 minutes and 2 ½ hours. Absolutely brutal at rush hour.

We did the rental car option from the CCC in 2017. They have a courtesy van that will pick you up at your resort and drop you back off after you return the car as long as the rental location at the CCC is open. There is no Disney bus service to/from the CCC. I picked the car up early in the morning the day we needed it and dropped it back off the next morning. I believe you need to arrange for the pick up at your resort either the day before or about 24 hours before you want to be picked up. Dropping back off at your resort is taken care of when you drop the car back off.
