Transportation to Premium Outlets?

This trip I'll be solo at WDW will not have a car and was wondering the best way to get to the Premium Outlets from DTD? How much does a Mears taxi cost to go from DTD to the Premium outlets on Vineland Rd? It is only a 3 mile ride. How safe do you feel a Mears taxi would be being solo? Never taken a Taxi before.

Mears is the on-site taxi company. Safe.

Ok thanks it comes up at $17.92 for one way. So $35.84 round trip. Might have to skip it this year as I don't think I'll save much at the Disney Character Warehouse outlet to justify the Taxi cost. I was planning on going May 20th if anyone would like to split the cost of the Taxi.

I'm guessing there might also be a bus route that would connect the two. Try golynx.com. If it works, it might only be a couple dollars each way.
