My family and I will be flying in the night before our cruise and staying at Saratoga Springs. What is the best way to get from there to Port Canaveral the next day? Using Disney transport or hiring a shuttle service? If a shuttle service which one would you recommend? As always thanks for the suggestions.

We always rent a car but if you don't want to go that option some town car services are:

Florida Tours
Southern Elegance
Happy Limo

MJ

Using DCL. Uses will get you there later than other transportation. We just did it in Feb and we got to port around 1ish. For our next cruise we are thinking we'll rent a car one way from MCO to Port - way cheaper! DCL is $35 per person per way and I just found a $41 one way rental.

Welcome Spotsy! There are a lot of topics on this very question. For cost it comes down to number of people. For best it varies based on your time. If you want to be the first on the boat you need to leave earlier. Disney Transport leaves later in the day, but it sure is easy.

Does Disney transport leave later in the day just from resorts or is it true about leaving from the airport too? I'm thinking about using them but my flight arrives at MCO around 8:30am and I would prefer to not hang around the airport for hours waiting to be picked up.

The DCL buses typically leave from the various resorts any time during the 10:45-1:30 window. DCL buses start departing MCO just after 9:00.

Check out Happy Hour Shuttle too. If we don't rent a car, we'll be going with them. Price is better than the limo services and their reviews are great!

Cruise transport leaves from mco starting a bit after 9am. But it's only for cruises that day. If you're arriving at 8:30 the morning if your cruise you'll bus head to canaveral. If you arrive the day before then you have more decisions to make.
