Transportation to Parks

We haven't been lucky enough (yet!) to stay in a monorail resort, but we always go out of our way to arrange things so that at least once, usually more, we get to ride the monorail. It just wouldn't be a WDW trip without a ride on the monorail!

I love the monorail especially when riding in the front with the driver/pilot! I've been in that seat twice! Very exciting!

But I love from the ferry you can take great pictures before entering the park of Cinderella Castle!

I like the monorail but will take which ever mode will get me to the park quickest.

We love taking a boat. It is so relaxing being on the water. Even when we stayed at the Poly we usually took aboat over to MK.

Monorail. It is the most fun way to get to the parks. And no matter where we stay when we stay at DVC I WILL do my planning around the monorail, so that we can utilize that the most. It's not solely a mode of transportation, it is an attraction itself.

I have read that Disney will now only allow riding with the Pilot on the Resort Monorail-from a Monorail resort.
Is this true?
Can you still ask to ride up front from MK to Epcot and vice versa?
I hope not...This smacks of "Class Discrimination"

what I like and what I do are often two different things.


I usually take the buses since they are most convenient transportation but boats are my favorite. I love the ferry view as you approach MK and it is really cool at night as well. The boat from Epcot to MGM is very peaceful as well.
