transportation to other parks

Most of our time will be spent in Disneyland, but if we want to go to other parks (Universal Studios, Magic Mountain and Knottsberry Farm), how would we get there?
I assume our hotel will take us, but when I called they were extremely unclear :x so if they did not provide transportation, will the other parks pick you up? Or what do you guys suggest?

Hi there,

No, the other parks will not pick you up, but Universal Studios Hollywood just began a bus service from Anaheim. It is a one-price deal where your admission and transportation are together. (Good deal, because a cab from Anaheim to Universal Studios in Burbank could run you $90!). Knotts Berry Farm is in Buena Park, a neighboring suburb, and I believe Gray Line Tours offers transportation with admission included. That isn't very far so you might be able to cab it. Six Flags Magic Mountain is a bit far (Valencia) and I'm unsure about transportation there.

Oh boy Im buying my ticket to Universal from a friend who is getting them from work Im saving about 60% on the tickets.
Maybe I better see if they want to join us (hahahaa) and be my transportation!! ;/

Do you have to buy your tickets from Universal?? The one place *I* want to go we may not make it.

Other than Knott's Berry Farm I'm not sure how close the other parks were. I think Knott's was probaly 10 miles or so. We drove to Burbank and it took over an hour and 2 hours to get home in traffic, argh! So I doubt if your hotel's shuttle will take you.

Six Flags is aprox 2 hours north of Disneyland with no transportation to that park. Cheapest way to get there would be to rent a car. As for Universal transportation call 1-800-Universal and they should be able to help you to find out if you need to buy the tickets directly or use already purchased tickets.
