This question has probably been asked before (if so, sorry) but is there transportation available from the Disney resorts into Orlando, International Drive etc? If so, how regular is the service? And how expensive?

Thankyou.

Not provided by Disney. You can have a cab called to the resort you are at. Or, you can hire a towncar service. But Disney does not provide any kind of transportation services from WDW to off-site areas.
Expense would depend on what mode of transport you decide on, and where you are going, and possible how many in your group.

Lynx is the name of the public bus system in central Florida and they do operate some bus services out of WDW to other locations. Check: www.golynx.com
for bus schedules. Look in the bus schedules for the 300-series of route numbers.

Peter, what are you trying to get to in Orlando? Nightlife? Shopping? Something else? That would make it a lot easier to answer. If you are looking for nightlife, a cab would be the only reasonable way to go.

The Lynx buses are a great way to get to SeaWorld but for other areas, I wouldn't do it. You have to make transfers...and that can get confusing. Unles you are familier with the area, I would stick with a cab or a towncar. For travel to SW, you just go to the TTC, pay $1.50 per person, each way. Tell the driver you want to get off at SW. It's very easy, no transfer.
