Transportation to MK from Dolphin?

What is the early morning hours transportation like to MK? Does it stop at other resorts? Is there a bus going to Epcot too...or do you have take the bus or walk only//How about MGM studios?

yes you do share buses with other resorts. walk to epcot and dhs or take the boat. the bus to mk and akl and dtd we shared with the swan bc/yc and bwi. i have to say the buses do get fairly crowded, but if you leave early you will beat most of the crowds and will be fine.

looking to save some money...how is the pool area and do they have food to eat served around the pool?

The Swan and Dolphin both share a bus route with Boardwalk...and sometimes with the YC/BC resorts. The bus does get crowded at busier times of year, but it really isn't bad.
The pool is very nice...I'm looking forward to using it in August. I know there is a bar out by the pool, but I can't say for sure what types of food are available there.
There isn't really a 'food court' per se...there is Picabu, on th bottom level of the Dolphin. It is more like a cafeteria...it is open 24 hrs. They serve everything from breakfast to dinner and snacks. Many things are grab and go, while others are made fresh.

Transportation isn't that bad from the Dolphin. You do share a bus with a couple of other resorts but the trip is pretty quick unless your late for dining as we are much of the time. But from the Dolphin you are walking and boat distance to both DHS and Epcot. We've actually walked through Epcot hit a couple of rides then hopped on the monorail and headed over to MK.

Sorry, forgot something. There are no buses to either DHS (MGM) or Epcot from the S/D. To get to Epcot, you have two options...you can walk, via the sidewalk, to the International Gateway, which is the back door to Epcot. That walk should take about 15 mins. Or, you can take the boat to the Gateway. The boat will stop at the YC/BC, the BW before going on to Epcot. It is usually much faster to just walk.
To get to DHS (MGM), you also have two options....boat or walk. The boat will go directly to DHS from the S/D dock...so that will take about 15 mins once you get on the boat. The boats come every 20 mins or so..if you just miss the boat, you may have a longish wait for the next one. You may just want to walk in that case. You would just cross over the bridge and head into the boardwalk area. There is a sidewalk that runs beside the canal (that the boat is on) that takes you to DHS. That walk will be between 15-20 mins depending on your walking pace.
