Transportation to Golf Course

Trying to figure out getting my son and his friend to the Oak Trail golf course from Saratoga Springs. They are 19&21 (so not children). My husband called to book them a tee time and was told to contact concierge or bell services for a taxi voucher. So he went up front at Saratoga. They told him that they don't typically go to that course. And they said they don't provide a voucher for the return trip. Does that sound right? Since it is within 24 hours from the tee time and would be an $80 cancellation fee they said they would make an exception this time.

Has anybody else tried to do this? I had read that they provided taxi vouchers, but never heard anything about only one way. And since oak trail is right next to the other two and its a taxi, not a bus I don't understand how it is out of the way. It's been hard to find much info online about it.

They will give a taxi voucher to return to your hotel in the Pro Shop. Just did it 4x on my last trip Feb 21-27.

Have them ask when they check into their tee time!
