I just booked our excursion to the dolphin discovery directly with the park. I booked the royal swim for my daughter and I. When I tried to book the encounter for my wife and youngest daughter they did not have any space available. So I called disney to book the encounter for my wife and daughter. The question is will my oldest daughter and myself be able to get transportation to the park with my wife and daughter since we did not book any excursion with disney?Or do we have to take seperate transportation? I asked the csr at disney and she did not know. Thank you

Where are you doing the Dolphins, as DCL offers 3 different excursions with the Dolphins. The are at Nassau, Cozumel and on Anguilla. But the end answer is since you booked separately from DCL, you and the daughter who are going on the swim will have to travel separetely from your wife and other child. If you're doing the dolphins in Cozumel, that's the easiest to get to from the ship, as it's located about a 15 minute cab ride away. The others involve taking ferrys to get to the location, and could be a difficult stretch to travel separately. You could always check with the excursion desk once you board to see what they could do for you. But most likely you'll have to travel separately and meet up at the park.

we will be at cozumel The csr said that disney uses cabs to get to the park. so maybe we can all use the same cab. thank you

Like you, we booked our swim through shoretrips.com. Got a nice package - the Royal swim (which was the same price as the dolphin excursion through Disney) - they also threw in free entrance into the park and free tickets for us for the seal/parrot show. We just hopped into a cab ($10) and they took us there. There were tons of cabbies there too to bring us back to the ship. We LOVED the swim - our dolphins were Azteca and America. We did the royal swim - worth every penny.

We did this trip through Disney last January. Disney does use cabs, but Disney pre-pays for these. Disney issues each Disney participant a ticket that gets them into the cab. You won't have a ticket. When we went, they were fairly strict about the ticket. There are plenty of other cabs there, and it is only a 10-15 minute ride along the coast.
