Transportation to DL from airport?

I need help from some of you DL experts. I'm flying in to LAX for our trip to DL. What is the cheapest way to get from the airport to the resort? Is there public transportation?

You can walk right outside the door from baggage claim and there are several shuttles/buses that will take you to your hotel, no reservation necessary. Super shuttle is the one we usually use - look for the guys in the blue shirts. I believe it is $36 round trip. Sometimes you can even pit the different companies against each other and try to get a deal.

Another idea if you have a group is to rent a car. We had four people for our trip last month and renting a car only cost us $40 per couple, so we saved over taking the shuttle bus. You can find good car rental deals on-line.

check out AirportBus for $25 Rt fares. That, or Supershuttle will be your best bet. You can get there by city bus, but...... I wouldn't recommend it.

We just returned and took the Supershuttle from LAX to DGC Hotel. The cost to any hotel in the Disneyland area is $14/person + tip. You do not need to make a reservation from LAX, but for your return trip you will need to your reservation 24 hours in advance and they like to pick you up 2.5 hours before your flight.
Supershuttle is an 8 person van. You catch the Supershuttle outside of baggage claim under the supershuttle sign and tell the attendant where you are going.

Since we did not make reservations for our return, we took the Aiportbus back to LAX.
Airportbus (full size bus) runs every half hour from most locations around Disneyland area hotels and Stops directly at all the Disney Owned hotels. Cost is $16/person ($25/RT) + Tip. Since they run every half hour, it is
easy to decide when you need to return.

Someone told me the cost of a taxi to the Disneyland area is about $37.

Both are very easy. I did not know about airportbus prior to our trip, but the roundtrip price makes it the most affordable and I would probably take it again.

Are the prices about the same from the Orange County airport? We will have 3 adults and only need one way. From the prices above, it looks like a taxi may be our best bet.

The cost of a oneway trip to/from John Wayne Airport on AiportBus is $11/person ($8/child).
SuperShuttle should have similar pricing.
