I wasn't exactly sure where I should post this but... We have always stayed at deluxe resorts but are considering staying at a moderate for part of this trip. Now my question is we tend to have a TS breakfast some morning at Deluxe resorts and some dinners there as well. We love the transportation options at deluxe resorts (most monorail) as it makes it easy to get from resort to resort but has anyone found it difficult/ had a problem eating at deluxe resorts for breakfast/dinner when staying at a moderate?! Thanks! :goodvibes

Taxi would be the easiest option. If you're looking to go to a monorail resort from a moderate, your best best would be to get bus to MK then monorail to the resort of your choice, or walk if you'd like to eat at CR. could get the little boats from MK to GF or Poly or WL.
For EPCOT resorts, you could get bus to the park then walk through to WS to the resorts but that's a big walk. Or get bus to DTD then get bus to resort.
They could be very time consuming if you're on a tight schedule so taxi would be best for that.

Figuring out the best option greatly depends on which resort and what time.

For dinners, I would schedule them for when you're going to be at the nearest park. In other words, do a dinner at an MK resort on a day when you're at MK, or dinner at an Epcot resort on a day when you're at Epcot or maybe DHS. Then you only have to worry about getting back to your resort.

We typically stay at POR and take taxis whenever we go to breakfast at other resorts, even the monorail resorts.

Several times, the buses have made us almost late to our ADRs and we would be at the bus stops two hours before our ressies. One time, my brother and I were staying at the Poly and were trying to get over to Cape May for breakfast. We followed the CM's advice at the front desk and took the monorail over to MK and then went to the Beach Club bus stop. Thirty minutes later, we were 15 minutes to our ADR time and there was still no bus. Thankfully, a nice transportation supervisor showed up and gave us a ride. That has happened to us twice.

Plan about $16-20 per ride and a little extra for tip.

Another option for Epcot resorts is to take a bus to Hollywood Studios & walk or bus from there. It is probably closer & definately easier than using Epcot main gate & walking thru to International Gate.

Ahhhh forgot to mention DHS :) there's also the option at DHS to take the boat which could drop you off at one the resorts

Oops! I thought boat & obviously, typed bus! I meant walk or boat to Epcot resorts:)

Buses do not run from parks back to all resorts early in the morning like before 10. If you need to make a connection to another resort, see a supervisor at that park right away to request a bus.

I have not had issues eating at deluxe resorts, no matter where I'm staying. BUT, I do tend to book meals at resorts when I am in a park easily accessible to that resort that day. For instance...if I'm going to eat at the GF, I usually book it for a day I'm at MK. Want to eat at YC/BC? Book when I'll be at either Epcot or DHS.
The buses start running by 6:30 to the parks...monorail starts around 7am. Yes, it's doable. I just don't recommend trying for the earliest breakfast ADR available, or the last dinner ADR. You need to figure on enough time for travel..unless you use a cab.
