Not sure if this is the Forum where I should be asking my question, but, here goes.....

My grandfather is in a wheel chair and at 88 years old he feels as if he has become a bother to us and rarely wants to join us for eating in restaurants because of all the "trouble" it causes. He is already putting up a fuss about using the Disney busses and doesn't want to join us in the parks.

My family is wondering if there is some type of car service or shuttle (other than Disney bus transportation) that would be able to take us from FW campground to the WL for dinner one evening. My family will be traveling in an RV and would like to go to the WL for dinner but would rather not unplug and tear down the campsite. There are 3 adults and my grandpa.

I know that Golf Carts can be rented from FW or even an outside vendor, but, I don't think those can actually leave the campground.

TIA for any help!!

I'm sure you coul get a taxi from the front of the campground but it woul not really be necessary. There is a bus from FW to WL, it is the same as the Orange FW internal bus. If you are on the orange line simply board the bus marked Orange Settlement, after leaving Settlement is goes to the Lodge, at the lodge to get home simple get on the bus marke FW, it will become the Orange Outpost bus when it reaches FW. If you are not on the Orange line, take your bus to Settlement and transfer to the WL bus there. Written out it sounds a bit confusing but in practice it is easy if you just read the bus signs.

one of campground buses runs to WL.you are not able to drive cars around campground from place to place inside campground. buses are very good with wheelchairs. golf carts may not leave campground. ps boat to MK very easy to take with wheelchair.just roll on and off. sometimes can boat over and back from WL also.
