transportation to 8:00 ADR for Donalds Breakfastasaurus?

Has anyone ever stayed at FW and had an 8:00 ADR for Donald's Breakfastasaurus? The CM I spoke with said that she doubts a bus will go through FW and can get us there by 8:00. Any comments?

in years past I have made early morning trips but I understand Disney is now WAY understaffed for their transportation so I'd venture to say nope...better make plans to drive to the park yourself that day if possible. I have a 9:00 ADR at the Castle for my upcoming trip and I plan to drive that day myself! Have a wonderful vacation!

We did the breakfast a couple of years ago from the fort and had to drive. It is just much quicker, any time of day. We find that if we have to be somewhere at a specific time, we drive.

Just curious....what do you do if you don't have a car? Is there no way to get there? I was planning on making 10:00 resv. to Breakfastasaurus when we go in Nov., but, now I may need to rethink that. Thanks

ETA: Yes there is a way to get there---the post about the limited options...I think is just a general comment on the bussing situation at WDW...but you will indeed be able to get from Point A to Point C even if it is via Point B. You just have to allow for the time...with a 10am ADR, you have MUCH more lead time than the poster withthe 8am ADR.


I know on the transportation boards that many folks recommend calling for a taxi. Though I'm not sure how you would access the cab if they can't get on property to coem and get you.

I think 10:00 would be okay...

We in general have found any early needs to make a time to be more difficult--but for anything within normal park hours, we have not had a problem.

FW is walkable---(I think 1 mile from end to end)--so if you are able...just to be certain..you could always walk to the outpost, take internal transportation to the outpost and then catch a cab up there....

Or just plan to head to AK at 8am...and catch your internal bus and then switch to the AK bus. with the 10am time, I think you will have plenty of time.

The 8am time in the OP---I think is pushing it.

Other options---you can take the boat to MK (I have found the boats to be reliable in terms of availability) and then take a bus to AK from there. Or take boat to MK, then MK to TTC and catch a cab.

The 8am will be NO PROBLEM even from Ft. Wilderness. The internal buses at Ft. Wildernes start about 6:15 am.

Take a bus to the Outpost. There will be an Animal Kingdom bus there at 7:00 AM.

NO PROBLEM. I've done it many times. I've also take internal transportation early in the morning to Settlement and gotten on a boat at 6:45am to the Contemporary.

Super! Thank you! I definitely don't want to miss our 8:00 ADR. We planned it for this early so we could be one of the first people in the park. This is our first time staying in the park, so we are unsure of all of the details. We will make sure we catch the 7:00 a.m. bus. If by chance we miss this bus, when will the next available bus come? How often will they come in October?
