Transportation tipping ?

Couple of tipping questions since we've been driving the past few years and things have changed...

Do we tip a car rental shuttle that takes us from the car care center to our resort? How much?

Do we tip ME if the bus driver handles our baggage?

I tip according to the bags handled. $1 or $2 per bag.

Anyone who handles you bags on a shuttle should be tipped $1-2 per bag, depending on the size/weight. If they don't touch your bags tipping is at your discretion.

If I board a shuttle that reaks of smoke (ie driver has been smoking when shuttle was empty), is dirty, the radio is playing loud music, the driver is rude or fails to even say hello, then I don't tip.

I've ridden the Hertz shuttle to and from the airport many times. I'm amazed at the number of people who let the driver load and unload their 50+ lb. bags and then don't even say "Thanks," much less part with a couple of bucks.

My philosophy is, if I can afford to be at WDW, I can afford to tip those folks who help to make my experience more enjoyable. I'm sure they'd love to be on vacation somewhere; instead of driving the bus, cleaning my room, serving me dinner, etc.

I do always say thank you but I feel terrible that I never thought to tip the guy on the car rental shuttle. I think because I didn't see anyone else tip there. Not that I need guidance but for whatever reason, just never tipped them and I have had some heavy bags. I will however do so from now on.
