We have a late ADR (7:40pm) at Chef Mickey's. I am growing concerned (mainly after I figured out what time we need to arise that same morning) that this ADR is just too late, especially if the chances are more likely that we'll be taking a bus to DTD and transferring to a bus for Pop.

If we come out of the CR and there are still people in the queue for a bus at MK, I suppose it's safe to assume buses are still running, even if it's well after MK closing. I'm wondering what my chances are on seeing that buses are indeed still running to/from the MK over needing to bus to DTD, and if anyone has any idea, I sure would appreciate it. (I'm <this close> to canceling the CM ADR, even though my DH is assuring me we'll be fine)

TIA!

You can always take a taxi. It's the fastest way from resort to resort. Figure about $15 plus tip.

I wouldn't cancel. From your signature, your trip starts about May 15th. That entire week, the MK doesn't close any earlier than 9pm and the Fireworks are shown at closing each of those nights, so that is 9:20pm when the closing transportation will really start cranking up and buses will be running till close to 11pm.

No worries. You will probably want to walk from the Contemporary back to the MK bus depot as sometimes after MK closing even if you board the monorail they won't open the exit doors to let you out at the MK station. (Only for passengers boarding).

I have to agree that MK will most likely still be emptying by the time you get done with dinner. I would think that the buses would be running until at least 11ish. So, just walk over to MK and hop on the bus to POP. I would also get to CM's a bit early and perhaps you can get seated early.

i will third buses run for at least 2 hours after park closing. that said, depending on the MK day, that could be some line for the bus. but you have nothing to worry about. and i would also walk from CR to MK, it's a 5-10 minute walk and takes you right to the bus stops. it's not worth doing the monorail.

Don't cancel! Plan on taking a Taxi! :thumbsup2 A taxi ride in Disney is a nice change from the buses...anytime it is late, you are tired or have been shopping in DTD! ;)
