Transportation questions!

First trip to DW, staying at Pop Century 1/9 - 1/18. We'll have a car part of the time from Alamo at the Car Care Center. I understand we can ask for a pickup at our hotel to get our car?

Are any of the parks easier to drive to as opposed to DW bus to, as far as parking, etc?

I understand it is easier to just bus it to Magic Kingdom. We'll be spending all day at MK one day, and then having ADR at Ohana at 7. Best to take monorail from MK to Poly? How early should we plan to leave in order to reach Poly by 7? Staying to watch fireworks from the beach. To get back to Pop, we'll have to take monorail back to MK and then bus back to Pop?? How late do the buses run?

The day before we leave, we are returning our car in the a.m. with the plan to be at MK for early entrance hours. How do we get from the Car Care Center to MK? (I don't think it is very far but really have no clue!) We have a 10:30 reservation for breakfast at Chef Mickey's that morning. How do we get from MK to breakfast and then back to MK?!

If going to MK you really are better off taking the bus. Then, either take the monorail or the small boat to the Polynesian. After eating, just hop back over to MK and hop on the bus back to POP. The buses will continue running until the last guests are taken care of...at least an hour or two after park closing.

You can drop the family off at the TTC while you have the car, then return the car to the Car Care Center. They will return you anyplace you want...I would ask to go to the TTC or the Contemporary. You can easily walk to MK from the CR...it takes about 8 mins, along a sidewalk that almost follows underneath the monorail line. Or, go to the TTC and take the monorail or ferry to MK...which ever you prefer.

When you need to get to Chef Mickey's, hop on the monorail over to CR..it's the next stop. Or, you can just walk over...again, about an 8 min walk. Then, after breakfast, walk back to MK and hop on the resort bus. If you take the monorail from CR back to MK, it will take about 25 mins or so...much faster to walk. The monorail has to go to the TTC, then to the Polynesian, then to the GF...before returning to the MK.

Let's hope for nice weather...I get to POP on the 12th!!!
