Also, what about the monorail? If you take the resort monorail, could you get off and take a bus to your resort? What are some tips or cool ideas as to making the transportation fun?
We always stay at the ASMo, so the bus is the primary means of transport each day, but we make it a point to try some of the other options when we can. For example:
1. Take the monorail to the Poly and dine at OHanas; or to the GF for afternoon tea.
2. Take the monorail to the Contemporary to dine at Chef Mickeys
3. Take the MK ferry to cross the lagoon and get to the Transportation Center; there, take a bus to DD for shopping
4. Take the boat from MGM to EPCOT (or vice versa). That is a WONDERFUL trip and will show you a whole new side of WDW.
5. Take the boat at EPCOT from one side to the other for a change and a new perspective of the countries.
You may want to take this question over to the Transportation Board. Chip N' Dale Express (Tyler) will probably be able to help you & give you specifics.
