I have been accepted into the DCP Spring 2014 Advantage. My question is I know there is a shuttle to take Cast Members to their work locations. On the Cast Members' days off, do they use the same shuttle to visit the parks?

Yup. CPs can use the same buses to go to the parks, Downtown Disney, Resorts, etc. You just have to give priority to anyone who is on the way to, or from work. My son has never had a problem using the buses to go play. In fact, he hasn't had a problem using them to go to or from work at Epcot, though many will say it takes an hour or more to get to work.

Thank you! Do you or anyone happen to know what time the buses start in the morning and what time they end at night?

dd works in the mk, bus runs 24/7. other parks do stop running during the late night. I'm guessing if you are at work, they wont let you stranded.it would be a loooooooooong walk back home. she also takes the buses, she leaves two hours before her shift starts and in most cases gets there an hour before her shift starts. after the cp bus, she has to get on another bus that takes her into the mk. the only time she wishes she had her car is when its late at night (2am) with wet feet and has to ride the bus home. but all in all, she glad she left her car home, one less thing to deal with.

before she left for the program, she said she felt like she was starting high school all over. lol its not like that at all!!! have a question, just ask. a lot of great kids in the program!!!! enjoy yourself and after the first few days, you will feel at home!!!!

It isn't as simple to get to a park on your days off as it is when you work because most of the buses drop you off backstage. If you're trying to go to Epcot, for example, you wouldn't take the E bus, you would take the B bus and get off at the Polynesian and walk to the Ticket & Transportation Center.

The only park that I know for sure has a direct path to the guest entrance from the bus stop is Hollywood Studios.
