Transportation Question

Hey all!! This may be somewhere on the DIS, but I haven't been able to find it through a search Does Disney have direct buses from Park to park (I am at SK and want to go to directly to MK)? Also, are there buses from the parks to Downtown Disney? I am going to be leaving MGM and want to go directly to DD, is this possible? I am going to be staying at WL and am trying to find the quickest route to DD for some SHOPPING !!! Thanks DISers, I appreciate the help!

There are buses from park to park (MK is the TTC though).

There are not buses from the park to DTD (too many people would park there for free and take a bus I guess!) You will need to go to DTD from your resort

There is no bus service from Magic Kingdom to Epcot and Epcot to Magic Kingdom.You have to take the monorail or ferry from MK to TTC and then the Epcot monorail from there to Epcot.An alternative would be to take the Beach Club bus from MK and then walk to the International Gateway entrance to Epcot from the Beach Club.To get to DTD you can go to any resort and transfer to a DTD bus there.You can also take a bus to POR and ride a boat from there to DTD.It is a really fun,scenic boat trip.

I think it depends on which park you're trying to get to and from where. I don't think you can get a bus from any park TO MK or directly FROM MK to another park, but can with the other 3?

From MGM to DD I would take a bus to the nearest hotel and then jump on their DD bus or as a previous poster mentioned if you take the bus to the PO and then hop on a boat for a beuatiful ride to DD. You could also take the boat to one of the hotels on it and then take their bus to DD.

That sounds like you're saying there is no bus transportation to or from MK to or from another park.
(It is unclear the way you left it).


There absolutely IS bus service to/from MK and DAK or MGM, but...

It is STILL set up the way it USED TO BE before they built the MK front-gate bus loading.

That is, you would always terminate and originate your bus at TTC, riding between the MK park and DAK or MGM.
And, of course, take the Epocot monorail at TTC to/from Epcot.
