how long does the water launch and bus take to get to the parksfrom the WL? which one is faster?

The Water launch only goes to the MK, to get to the other parks you have to take the bus. There was no bus to the MK, you can take the bus to the TTC and then the monorail to the MK. I think the trip on the boat launch was about 15 to 20 minutes. Depending on how long it took to get everyone on board.

I really did not have much trouble with the transportation at the Wilderness Lodge on my last stay. The only time I waited longer than 15 minutes was for a bus to DTD. The boat to the Magic Kingdom starts (I believe) about a 1/2 hour prior to park opening and runs until 45 minutes after the park closes. The boat launch to the Contemporary starts at 7am and ends at 10pm. Also, the boats also go to FW, so there is a 50-50 shot of adding another 5 minutes or more to the normal boat trip. The monorail to the MK resorts (& MK) starts at 7am and the monorail to EPCOT does not start until 7:30am (even on MH days). If you need to get to the park earlier than the MK boat runs, then grab the boat to the Contemporary & jump on the monorail. I found the bus ride to EPCOT to be about 15-20 minutes (it stops at Fort Wilderness before heading to EPCOT), about the same to MGM & a little longer to Animal Kingdom. Please keep in mind that the buses may stop at the Contemporary as well. Also, keep this in mind if you are trying to get to a PS either at a park or another resort. Be sure to give yourself AMPLE amount of time to get there, so you're not stressing out before you enjoy your meal.
