Transportation options to/from WDW to port?

We are considering spending a night at a Disney resort before and after our cruise in June. I know that we can use the new free shuttle service to and from MCO to our resort.

My question is: does Disney now offer free transportation from the resorts to the port, or do we still have to pay?

ETA: we are not booking the Land/Sea package, so it looks like we may be out of luck. We will probably stay at a Value resort, and from what I can tell, DCL doesn't have a bus stop at the Values.

They did not offer free trasportation with the Land/Sea pckg either. We rented a vehicle. It made it easier. This time we are using a limo service.
