Transportation options from MIA to Miami Port

Is there a Disney Express shuttle from MIA that goes to Miami Port, or what transportation options do people recommend from the airport? Uber/Lyft?

...and options from the Port back to MIA when the cruise is done!

We flew in the night before our cruise. Our hotel had a shared shuttle to the port that picked up at 11am and cost $11 per person. Our PAT was earlier so we took an Uber XL. It cost $45 with tip. On the way back to MIA, we used uber again and it was $35 with tip. I have read that taxis have a flat fee from the port of $27, but my DH was in charge of transportation. We had 2 adults, 2 kids, 4 backpacks, 2 carry-on and 2 checked bag size pieces of luggage.

If you take Disney transportation, you don't have to worry about PAT.

Not sure about the first leg, but you definitely want to book the return leg ahead of time. They base your ship debarkation time on your flight info.

Any idea how they determine your PAT time if you are staying at one of the Disney approved hotels? Flying in the day ahead and planning on doing this.

Not sure. I've done one airport transfer right after my flight, then another airport transfer after spending the night before in a non-approved hotel and getting myself back to the airport. In both cases I had wide open choices of PAT and got exactly what I wanted.

Maybe I've just been lucky but I think I read that booking Disney transportation gets you whatever PAT you want.
